Aspire Physiotherapy was established in 2017 to provide high-quality, personalised physiotherapy care to the West Coast community. Our focus is on helping you move better, recover well, and return to the things you enjoy most.

We work with people of all ages and backgrounds, from sportspeople and active individuals to those recovering from injury, surgery, workplace injuries or managing everyday aches and pains. Our team takes a personalised approach to ensure your treatment is suited to your individual needs and goals.


We are ACC accredited and welcome both self-referrals and referrals from health professionals. ACC claims can be lodged for you during your appointment.



Roxane Oates

Physiotherapist & Hand Therapist

Roxane Oates BSc (Hons) is the Clinical Lead and Director of Aspire Physiotherapy. She is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist and registered hand therapist, trained in the UK and working across both the UK and New Zealand. Roxane holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports & Exercise Science and a Postgraduate Certificate in Rehabilitation from AUT, with additional qualifications in acupuncture. She specialises in hand therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, splinting, Pilates, pre- and post-natal physiotherapy, and persistent pain management. She also works in ACL rehabilitation and musculoskeletal ICP services.

Nev Kalsi

Physiotherapist

Nev joined Aspire Physiotherapy in January 2026 as an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist, trained in the UK and with experience across public and private healthcare in New Zealand. He is approachable, professional and passionate about helping clients achieve their goals. Nev specialises in post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, musculoskeletal pain, and strength and conditioning.

Sophie Milligan

Receptionist

Sophie joined Aspire Physiotherapy in January 2026 and is part of the reception team. She helps booking physiotherapy appointments, answering phone calls and managing emails.


ACC Initial Assessment

45 minutes · $50 Your first appointment for an ACC injury. We’ll assess your injury and create a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan.

ACC Follow-up

30 minutes · $35 Follow-up treatment to continue your rehabilitation and monitor your progress.

Hand therapy initial ACC

40 minutes · $20 An initial assessment for hand, wrist, elbow and upper-limb conditions, with a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan.

Hand therapy Follow-up ACC

30 minutes · No charge Follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and continue your treatment plan.

Private Initial Assessment

45 minutes · $90 Your first appointment for a non-ACC injury or condition. We’ll assess your concerns and develop a personalised treatment plan.

Private Follow-up

30 minutes · $75 Ongoing treatment and rehabilitation to support your recovery and progress.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your referrals details with you, ACC details, and any  radiology reports. If a self referral no need to bring anything.

What happens if I haven’t lodged an ACC Claim?

That’s not a problem. We can easily lodge an ACC Claim for you. If, however, it is not accepted you will be required to pay the private funding fee.

How do I pay?

You will be expected to pay at your appointment, we have EFPOS available, cash , bank deposits are accepted.

What if I can’t make my appointment?

Please try and give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations  at short notice will be invoiced a $35 fee. Please try and give 24 hours notice.

Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?

The clinic site is equipped to be wheel chair accessible, with the toilet also accessible by wheelchair and  parking.
